I have been practicing yoga for thirteen years, enjoying better fitness and improvements to my asthma, flexibility and strength as a result. Additionally yoga lets me find a stillness and balance within me that helps to deal with the demands of life. I qualified as a teacher with Dru Yoga in 2013 and have been teaching regular classes ever since.
About Dru Yoga
Dru yoga is a graceful form of yoga, based on soft flowing movements, controlled directed breathing and visualisations. Dru is both a graceful form of exercise and a potent means of stress relief.
We work on improving strength and flexibility, creating core stability which helps our posture and developing a heightened feeling of positivity and well being.
In the class we stretch and warm the body freeing any tension, flow into postures and sequences whilst directing the breathing, followed by a guided relaxation to finish the class.
Dru Yoga is suitable for all abilities and fitness levels, and beginners are welcome.
